She is a researcher and Associate Professor, level 2, at the Federal University of Amazonas, Faculty of Education, Department of Indigenous School Education. She has experience in the area of Indigenous School Education, with an emphasis on the Training of Indigenous and non-indigenous Teachers. She works in the areas of indigenous school education; critical interculturality; decoloniality; and holistic therapy. She holds a PhD (2018) and a master’s degree in Education (2005); and a bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy (2002) all from the Federal University of Amazonas.
