Avelino, Rodolfo

He is a professor at Insper, with a PhD in Human and Social Sciences from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), and a master’s degree in the interdisciplinary program in Digital TV from São Paulo State University (UNESP). He is an elected member of the Advisory Committee of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) (2023-2026). He is a researcher and contributed to the creation of the Free Technologies Laboratory (LABLivre) at UFABC. With over 28 years of experience in Information Technology and cybersecurity, he is the author of Digital Colonialism: Tracking Technologies and the Informational Economy. He is also involved in the NGO Coletivo Digital, working on projects related to culture and free technologies.
