Currently, they are a collaborating professor and conducts postdoctoral research on trans social thought at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the State University of Campinas (ICHSA/UNICAMP). They are a researcher affiliated with the Trans-Travesti Studies Network and the (In)Disciplinary Studies Collective on Body and Territory (COCCIX/NAU – USP). Their research explores the intersection of Anthropology, Trans Studies, and Literature, focusing on topics such as knowledge production, writing, aesthetics and politics, subjectivities, gender, and social markers of difference. They have a master’s and PhD degree in Anthropology from the University of São Paulo (USP), as well as undergraduate degrees in Law and Social Sciences from the same institution. They were a visiting researcher at Princeton University between 2014 and 2015, and at the University of Pennsylvania between 2019 and 2020.
