Professor in the Department of Geography and the Graduate Program in Geography at the Federal University of Parana (UFPR). She currently coordinates the Curitiba Hub of the Observatório das Metrópoles of the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT), is a founding member and part of the coordination hub the Internet Governance Research Network (REDE), and serves on the Advisory Board of the Latin American Network for Studies on Surveillance, Technology, and Society (Lavits). Her research focuses on digital techno-geographies, with an emphasis on their impacts on socio-spatial differentiation and the formation of power asymmetries. She is the author of Redes Digitais, Espaços de Poder: Por uma Geografia da Internet (Consequência Press).
